Grossmont Network Issues
April 24th, 2009 by Jesse DyeA recent upgrade of servers has caused considerable instability of certain network resources. That combined with a power outage in our main server room has caused various and significant anomalies which just adds to the complexity of troubleshooting these issues. I have been working for the past week with the software manufacturers to find the cause of and solution to these errors. As of today, we are unable to solve the issues associated with the latest version of software. Therefore to hopefully reduce computer downtime, I will be rolling back to an older more proven version. This will take place over the weekend, primarily Saturday 4/25, and may cause intermittent down time. So if you plan on doing work on campus this weekend please plan accordingly. Thank You,
